Exciting news came from Dillon today! My dossier was actually logged in on December 27th in China! It simply didn't show up on China's website until today. Typically it's 1-2 months to get LOA (Letter of Approval) after the log in date. My prayer is that it comes before Chinese New Year which is the week of January 23rd.
It's one more step toward getting her here, so it's a day to celebrate! I am now LID! Lots of acronyms, huh? You can find a list on the left side of this page.
The projection based on online forums and national averages would put us traveling in Late April. Of course I'm praying for sooner! Dillon has prepared me for 5-6 months. It's very hard to guess accurately when you're dealing with foreign governments. In the meantime, I pray for this little one and dream of the day when I travel halfway around the globe to get her!

Thanks so much for all your prayers and support. Chinese New Year begins the 23rd so everyone is praying they want to clear their desks before that and lots of approvals will flow in this week. If not, the CCAA in China will be closed for the week next week and we all wait another week.
